Do you really know what’s best for you

This is the best time in the history of humanity. Let me tell you why. I’m not just being biased because I’m living now.

It’s actually a struggle to not overindulge in life’s pleasures. We have to do things like “diets”. Imagine telling your grandma you don’t want a second plate of pasta because you’re watching your calories…

You’re both actually right. There’s a reason why she wants you fed. So you don’t go hungry like she did. But you have your reasons too.

You’re investing so much energy trying to think of a way to politely refuse your grandma’s offering. But why say no to her?

We all know that food is energy, and the more you eat the more you can do. Theoretically. What happens is though, we each have a threshold where we can eat too much and then we become one with the couch.

What if I tell you that you can just raise that threshold by doing more?

Hear me out. Normally a health conscious individual would measure the calories they need for the day, and adjust their diet. This is because they have a planned work day ahead, and they know this much food will sustain them.

The thing is, they’ll have odd days like a visit to grandma’s and they will be pissed internally.

“Oh no this meal will exceed 694.20 calories”.

Grandma is secretly hinting at you to do more, be more. And she’s willing to provide the nutrition for it.

So go do an extra push up, add an extra shimmy to your dance moves, run an extra mile. Or expose yourself to ice baths, you’d be surprised as to how many calories it burns. The food is there…
